For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>All devices (including backup devices) use disk encryption so data is secure at rest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Devices automatically lock after a short period of inactivity to reduce the risk of unauthorised access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Devices are \u2018patched\u2019 (updated with the latest security updates) on a regular basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information is backed up hourly to our NAS drive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All servers (including WiFi) are completely segregated from those of our iHub tenants to alleviate the risk of unauthorised access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The 3rd party service providers who we employ to perform certain tasks also commit to implementing appropriate security measures to protect the data that we disclose to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, no company or service can guarantee complete security. Unauthorised entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>For how long is personal data retained?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Different types of personal data are retained for different periods of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At a high level, personal data is retained for only as long as Absolute Care Services has a legitimate basis to retain the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Personal data you provide when signing up for our email marketing lists is retained until such time as you unsubscribe.
